Killian Whelan
Killian Whelan owns and manages an International Telecommunications company. This enterprise is one of several companies which Killian has set up and sold over the last 20 years. Killian is also a director of a number of commercial organisations in a variety of different industries.
Killian was a Solas Project mentor for the Step up programme and as a result of this experience became a strong advocate for creating new opportunities for young people, which help bridge the imbalance felt by many inner city communities. As part of his role as a director of Solas Project he is involved with the planning and development of the group’s funding initiatives. Killian has an MBA from Smurfit Business School.
