Pete joined Solas Project in 2022 to oversee both our Solas@School programme and our After School Clubs. Pete is also part of our leadership team and managers our corporate partnerships.

Pete loves working with people and helping young people reach their potential. He loves that every day in Solas Project is completely different with plenty of variety!

Before joining the team Pete worked in various youth work roles for nearly 15 years across the sector as well as coaching sports and leading outdoor pursuits programmes.

Pete has a BA in Youth & Community work, a Level 9 in Contemporary Chaplaincy and Schools work and is also a qualified sports massage therapist and running coach. 

A native of Belfast, in his free time Pete spends a lot of time running, travelling and chasing the sun. He is a coffee aficionado and enjoys hanging with his family.
