Richie joined us in June 2026 as a youth justice worker with our TRY and Rua teams. Before joining Solas Project, Richie worked with Care After Prison (CAP), supporting people as they navigated life after prison. In his own words:

“I love having the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people and supporting them through challenges to help them reach their full potential. My own lived experience also helps me understand some of the barriers young people may face.”

Richie is from Dublin and holds a joint honours degree in Sociology and Social Policy from University College Dublin (UCD), as well as a Level 8 Certificate in Social Care.

Outside of work, Richie enjoys going to the gym, sea swimming, reading and spending time with friends.
