Andy joined us in October 2025 as a Youth Justice Worker on our Compass team. Previously, Andy spent five years working in the homeless sector and within prisons, as well as eight years in the outdoor industry, showing the benefits of nature and outdoor activity for wellbeing. In his own words:

“After working with people in the homeless sector and in prisons, and seeing where life can sometimes lead, I believe working with young people can help guide and support them towards a different path.”

Andy brings a wide range of skills and passions to his work with young people. He holds qualifications in music production and sound engineering, multiple instructorships in outdoor sports, and a degree in Outdoor Management.

Outside of work, Andy enjoys playing music and going for hill walks. He also used to sail and windsurf - before the baby came along!
